EXP3 | Images of Final Model in Crysis Wars
Bird's eye view of structure within he valley. The colours applied to the model are intended to match the colour of the environment.
Helen Keller's space. The space is integrated into the bridge as though it were a natural environment and is also an open area so as to accentuate the client's senses. The elevator is positioned at the bottom of the image.
Angela Merkel's space. The client's office is situated at the opposite end of the bridge. It is a fairly enclosed space due to the political business that would be brought about the area, separating it from the surrounding natural environment.
A space is left in the middle where the clients can meet together. It is intended to be a social space and is placed at an opening of the bridge's shells to enable guests to enjoy the view of the landscape.
The dining table is situated on the valley floor. The design demonstrates the strength of collaborating a minimal amount of materials which are interwoven to form a whole. Unfortunately in Sandbox there is a glitch with the table and chairs and so they appear to be floating instead of sitting on the landscape.
EXP3 | SketchUp Model
Design for Experiment 3 which consists of a bridge, two client spaces, and two elevators. There are a few glitches which I have not been able to fix.
Note: This is more of a conceptual design of what I intended to do but due to some errors occurring during design, the model imported into the Cryengine Sandbox will have noticeable differences.
EXP 3 | Images of Draft Crysis Wars Environment
This image shows the bridge imported into Sandbox and scaled accordingly. A shell was developed in Sketchup to be used as one of the client spaces.
Third person view on the bridge illustrating the scale of the structure relative to the person.
Similar to the first image's perspective. A development in the bridge's spaces has been made. The bridge is now covered in three different "shells".

Week 10 | Review of EXP2 Peer Work
An Phan's work for Experiment 2 demonstrates the manipulation of landform to provide a sense of the model's adaptation towards its environment, a reference to the conceptions of Charles Darwin. However, more experimentation with the landform could have benefited this idea.
The model appears to contain a large amount of "negative" rectangular prisms but it may have been the intention of the student to have provided an open space. Additionally, the "box" texture applied to parts of the Sketchup model emphasise its rectangular nature whilst the other textures reveal experimentation towards lighting effects.
Overall, a sound effort for Experiment 2.

Week 10 | News Article MashUp
In Berlin, where Chancellor Angela Merkel faces a groundswell of hostility, Keller learned to circumvent her blindness, deafness and muteness. Kerr’s first venture as a businesswoman issued stark warnings about the prospects that no similarly afflicted person before had done. Merkel’s proposals are radical and would require renegotiating to launch her signature revolutionised help for the blind and deaf. Her sombre tone explained directly and without reference to a 'sixth sense' “There is so much I really want to do, and I am passionate about health and wellness”.
Kerr will promote her stiff new prescriptions to defend her powers of articulate speech. She is also engaged in a simmering power struggle but said there are no aspirations at the moment. She committed passionately to the bailout, thereafter, as a girl and as a woman, became a triumph over crushing adversity and shattering affliction. “I am quite happy at the moment”, Kerr said, portraying herself as the saviour of the euro.
Miss Keller always insisted that there was nothing mysterious or miraculous to the fudges and fiddling of fiscal miscreants, she argued. Her tremendous accomplishments and the force of assertive personality that underlay them were plans to expand the line to include “no more and no less than the future”. Her remarkable mind unfolded, and she was coy when asked if she expected something special over who should police the new regime. She became an artful and subtle writer after months of prevarication and deep reluctance to increase her brand portfolio.

Week 9 | Final Axonometric Images in Crysis
Stephen Hawking's Space. The design of the lab focused on the idea of providing more open space than the building held, revealing the decay of mankind.
Charles Darwin's Space. This space was made to integrate with its surrounding environment to depict the collaboration between nature and man to form a physically strong structure. Thus revealing the strength of mankind's cooperation.
This image displays the meeting space. The two ramps can be seen on either side of the image, where the path on the left is a subtle ramp while the ramp on the right is made constructed from the mountain.
This image shows the effects of lighting at certain points of the structure.
An overview of the whole island, showing the contrasting ideas of decay and collaboration. The building acts as a means to form an aggregation these concepts.
